Kutuzov House
Detailed description
The house was built in 1768. The house is famous for the fact that since 1798, Prince and commander M. I. Kutuzov and his family lived in it for 14 years. The widow of the commander opened a church in the wing located nearby. To this day, Kutuzov's icons are located in it. Until the revolution, the building was in the possession of Kutuzov's descendants. In April 1942, the house was damaged by shells and bombs. After the war, all the destroyed parts of the house were restored.
