Mansion of Count G.A. Kushelev-Bezborodko - House of A.G. Eliseev
Detailed description
The two houses of the Kushelev-Bezborodko brothers adjoin each other on Gagarinskaya Street, forming an ensemble. Despite the different architects, the facades of the Kushelev houses are similar in many ways, forming a single neo-Renaissance ensemble. The similarity can be traced in the rustication of the walls, the stepped arrangement of small pilasters and groups of arched pediments. Among the details of the facade is a relief depicting a dancing putti, created by the Danish sculptor and decorator D. I.Jensen (1816-1902).
