The apartment house of F.P. Spiegel - The House of the Nobels

The house was built in 1875. In the 1880s, at a time when the Nobel couple were the owners, the house was remodeled by the architectural engineer A. A. Dokushevsky. The Nobels are a family of world—renowned Swedish engineers, entrepreneurs, industrialists, and major philanthropists. The building is famous for its architecture: the front of the four-storey building uses architectural techniques of the Peter the Great Baroque.
