The mansion of Prince L.V. Kochubey

The mansion that exists today was built in 1844-1849 for retired Guard colonel Lev Viktorovich Kochubey. At the moment
, most of the historical interiors of the Kochubey residence have been preserved, including the lobby, the main staircase, the living room and the rooms of the prince and princess. In the 1920s, the building housed the Petrograd District Committee, where the first Soviet films were shot, and special filming pavilions were equipped. Today, the building is a monument and is protected by the state as an architectural monument.
