The moving house of the Foundry
Detailed description
The creator of the most expensive house was the Russian Italian Vincent Ivanovich Beretti. The tower, built by Mikhail Mikhailovich Lagovsky in 1870, changed the operational situation in the area. Like the moving house that already existed in the same area, the tower became famous for its functionality – towering over the entire surrounding building, it allowed you to quickly identify the location of the fire and notify the neighboring fire brigades about it. Two observers were on duty at the tower around the clock, using flags, balloons and lanterns for communication. The architectural monument served not only to prevent fires, but also created a unique atmosphere in the surrounding area.
