The mansion of A. F. Kelkha
Detailed description
The historic building in St. Petersburg is located on Tchaikovsky Street, the mansion was built between 1896 and 1903 by Alexander Ferdinandovich Kelkha at the expense of his wife Varvara Petrovna. In the 21st century, the building belonged to the Ministry of Justice of Russia, and now it houses the French University College of St. Petersburg State University. The facade of the building along Krasny Prospekt is made in the French Renaissance style, the main facing materials are red and light gray sandstone. The facade in the courtyard is made in a different style, Gothic, with an openwork pavilion as the central element of the garden.
