Greenhouse Bridge
Detailed description
The greenhouse bridge over the church moat was built at the beginning of the century according to the design of architect I.V. Yegotov. The role of this bridge was mainly economic, it served as a communication channel to the backyard with its greenhouses and extensive orchard. Bolshoy and Maly Cave Bridges (1805-1808)They were part of a "romantic plan" named after I.V. Yegotov and built in Tsaritsyn Park (at the foot of the hilly valley of the upper Tsaritsyn pond). The architect was inspired by the "Gothic" architecture of the palace ensemble of V.Bazhenov and M.Kazakov.
