Detailed description
The remains of the Cavalry Corps are what remains of the building in Tsaritsino, next to the Grand Palace. The building of the Cavalry Corps, designed by the Russian architect Bazhenov for the retinue of Empress Catherine II. It was dismantled by architect Kazakov in 1794-1795 and laid out in the front courtyard of the Grand Palace.
