N.P. Basin apartment house

The apartment building of Nikolai Petrovich Basin is located in the center of St. Petersburg, on Ostrovsky Square. It was built according to the project of Nikolai Petrovich himself in the late seventies of the nineteenth century. The building is an example of the neo-Russian style. The facades of the house make it look like a Russian wooden tower. Due to the original architectural design, the picturesque silhouette and richness of the decor distinguish the house from the nearby buildings in a strict classical style.
