Grotesque bridges
Detailed description
The grotesque bridge is made of stones of different sizes, shaped like a cave or grotto. According to the legends of the Neskuchny Garden, newlyweds cross the bridge to ensure a happy family life. According to one legend, it was on this bridge in 1830 that Pushkin took 18-year-old Natalia Goncharova, who was still a bride, and it was here that they kissed, as described in Pushkin's diary.
