Detailed description

Cherkassy Almshouse was established in 1858 by Princess N. A. Cherkasskaya. This architectural building is more than 160 years old. In 1856, the Princess created a wooden church with an almshouse for elderly women. One main temple has a quadrangle with asps and a vestibule, arched openings for windows. In 1898, all wooden buildings were replaced with stone ones. The entrance, where the landmark is located, is framed by arched gates, which are in a dilapidated state.
