Postnikov-Konshin-Mantashev Mansion
Detailed description
In 1840, the building was built in the neoclassical style according to the design of M. Bykovsky's project, which was developed under his leadership. During the construction of dachas along the Petersburg highway, the construction of dachas developed, of which one of the few remaining at the present time is the Postnikov-Konshin-Mantashev cottage. The reconstruction of the house at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries was carried out by architects F. O. Shechtel and A. E. Erichson.
This object is like the last surviving cottage, which stands on the Petersburg highway near Petrovsky Park. This building is the first stone building outside of Tverskaya Zastava after the fire of 1812.
Today's Leningradka and formerly the Petersburg Highway became popular for the aristocracy back in the nineteenth century, because they stopped at the Petrovsky Travel Palace on their way to Moscow.
