Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, Opera House
Detailed description
The museum is located in the palace, which was built in 1776. The architectural style of the palace is Russian Neo–Gothic. The building was designed by architect Vasily Ivanovich Bazhenov. The building received the name "opera house" in the 19th century, court performances were held here, as well as small official receptions. The building has two floors and an elaborate decor. Despite its large shape, it produces a feeling of lightness and integrity.
