Haymarket Square
Detailed description
Sennaya Square is located in the center of St. Petersburg. It got its name at the end of the 18th century. They used to sell hay on the square. In 1952, the square was renamed Peace Square, and its historical name returned only in 1992. Sennaya Square has appeared in works of art more than once, for example, it is mentioned in the novel "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky.
