Eliseev 's apartment house
Detailed description
The apartment house of the merchant G.G. Eliseev was built by architect G. V. Baranovsky in 1889-1890.
The house is five-storeyed, stone, lined with small bricks. The building's style is eclectic. The facade of the house is richly decorated with intricate architraves and magnificent stucco. The window openings are decorated with ceramic bas-reliefs. The architect wanted to emphasize the richness and importance of the customer with the decor of the building. The apartment building was also built for wealthy guests.
