Detailed description
The house was built in 1800 on the embankment of the Griboyedov Canal. The architectural style of the building is "eclecticism". The building is located near the Yusupov Palace and is a six-storey stone building. The walls are painted cream. It is currently an apartment building. The house is famous for the fact that the poet Alexander Sergeyevich Griboyedov lived in it for a while. The Museum of Russian Railways and St. Anna Annenkirche Evangelical Lutheran Church are nearby.
