The main building of the Nikolaev military land hospital

The date of the hospital's foundation is July 11, 1835, as evidenced by a memorial plaque installed near the main building. For its construction, a large part of the site in the Sands was allocated, which was bought by private individuals. The construction of the building lasted five years and ended on August 11, 1840. At that time, the hospital was awarded the title of an exemplary hospital. The 442nd District Military Hospital is now located in the building.
