The mansion of L.N. Simonov - Stolypins
Detailed description
The mansion of L.N. Simonov – Stolypins is located near the Mosaic Courtyard of Vladimir Lubenkon on the Neva River embankment. The building was built in the 1870s in the neoclassical architectural style. The house originally belonged to Dr. Simonov, and in 1911 it was acquired by the Prime Minister of the Russian Empire, Pyotr Stolypin. A third floor was added by order of Stolypin. The building is a three-story brick structure with arched windows and a covered balcony on the second floor. Currently, the building houses a private school and shops. The house is classified as a national heritage site.
