Apartment house of P.G. Gulin
Detailed description
The construction of the apartment building occurred in 1901. The building was built according to the designs of architect Boris Ionovich Girshovich for an honorary citizen, as well as civil engineer Pavel Grigoryevich Gulin. Boris Ionovich conveyed the classical style for an apartment building on the path of transition from late eclecticism to Art Nouveau. A special feature of the building was the fact that the original appearance was preserved, the facade of the house has not been changed and has reached the present time.
In 1903, the premises were completely occupied by the Greek Consulate, although the Gulin family still owned the house until 1917. After the revolution, the building was converted into communal apartments, and in the 1920s the house was given to the school of social and labor education. The building is currently residential.
