Pogodin 's apartment building

Pogodin's apartment building is a monument of history and culture of federal significance. The building itself was built in the early 19th century and belonged to the shipwright I. Amosov. In 1824, the poet and Decembrist A.I.Odoevsky lived here, and later the poet, playwright and composer A.S.Griboyedov settled. In 1894, architect M.A. Andreev built a third floor and redesigned the facade in eclectic forms.
