Chapel of the Transfiguration of the Lord at the Fraternal Military Cemetery

The chapel is located in the park of Heroes of the First World War. It is located on the site of a military cemetery, which was built on the initiative of Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna Romanova for the burial of fallen soldiers. Previously, the chapel was made of wood, but now it is a stone building topped with a memorial plaque. In 2015, the ashes of the Romanov Grand Duchess Nikolai Nikolaevich and Anastasia Nikolaevna, who were brought from France, where the couple died, were reburied in the chapel.
