Manor Znamenskoye-Gubaylovo
Detailed description
The estate, founded at the end of the 17th century by I. F. Volynsky, became the property of Prince V. M. Dolgorukov in the middle of the 18th century. He also built a classic architectural ensemble that has survived to our time. The estate had a manor house, a garden and a greenhouse, as well as two landscape parks with hermitages and grottoes. After several owners, the estate became a cultural center associated with Moscow symbolist poets. Now the main house, service wings and a chapel-tomb have been preserved in the estate. The estate has a landscaped park with artificial ponds and ancient pine trees.
