Entrance Gate Tower
Detailed description
In the 18th century, this place was the residence of Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova's father, who later handed it over to her uncle N. Panin. He is building a new architectural ensemble on this site. According to the owner's plans, the structure of the mansion resembled the Bender fortress, which he took.
The central entrance tower is an octagonal two-story structure with gibbellite battlements. They are completely rustic and decorated with niches. The side towers are square and decorated with paneled applications. All the buildings of the estate were decorated with white stone, as the park gazebos preserved in the corners of the ponds remind. Today, the building is simply painted in contrasting red and white colors.
