Artillery pillbox of the Moscow Line of Defense
Detailed description
The artillery pillbox of the Moscow Line of Defense is one of the surviving fragments of the engineering defense of the Battle of Moscow (September 30, 1941-20, 1942) of the Great Patriotic War. Due to its elevated position on the eastern bank of the Moskva River, this training ground had a wide viewing angle. The preserved permanent structures of the Moscow Defense District (MO) are made of reinforced concrete, which is its traditional material, with various types of construction.
