Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos
Detailed description
In 1873, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was founded. The side chapels in the name of St. Nicholas and Elijah the Prophet were consecrated in the Orthodox church. The building was built at the expense of the manufacturer A.Y. Polyakov. In 1897, a bell tower with a refectory was added to the church. N.I. Kokorin was engaged in the design of the structures. In 1922, the Bolsheviks seized church utensils and valuables from the temple. The building was closed and used as a club. In 1990, the parish regained the church. The domes, bell tower, and part of the refectory were lost in the building.
