Detailed description

A large two-storey temple made of monolithic reinforced concrete was built in Krasnogorsk, which began in 2013. The throne of St. Andrew the First-Called is located in the basement. The temporary church was built with a frame-and-shield structure to hold divine services in the fall of 2014, but was dismantled in April 2019, when St. Andrew's Church began to receive parishioners. St. Nicholas Church was consecrated by Ecumenical Patriarch Kirill on August 16, 2020, and on September 18, 2020, the church received the status of a cathedral.
