The Church of the Life - Giving Trinity in Khoroshev
Detailed description
The temple was built at the end of the XVI century. It was rebuilt several times. In the middle of the XVIII century, a bell tower was added, and a hundred years later, a refectory. It is a one-story stone building with a dome decorated in the form of multi-tiered kokoshniks. The cupolas of the side chapels are adjacent to the sides of the dome. The temple was looted several times: the first time it was looted by French troops in 1812, the second time after the revolution, and the third time after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Despite this, the church was restored at the beginning of the 21st century and is still in operation.
