In Moscow, on Narodnaya Opolcheniya Street, there is a house that belonged to the People's Commissariat of Water Transport since 1937, where the heads and engineers of the hydroelectric complex lived. The house was huge by the standards of those times. There were 24 apartments in it. The building had two entrances and a back door. There were four apartments on each site, and there was an office downstairs. Most of the apartments consisted of five rooms, which were divided into communal apartments after the war. And during the war, there was a reserve command post and infantry regiment units here.
