Rotunda of the Brattsevo estate

On the territory of the ensemble of the Brattsevo estate there is a white stone rotunda, which was created at the end of the XVIII - beginning of the XIX century. The complex of buildings, which has survived to the present day, was built by order of N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov in 1813-1815. The rotunda, located in the historical Brattsevo district, is an exquisite decoration of the entire manor ensemble. It stands out with an Ionic order colonnade, coffered vault and dome, as well as a crowning cornice with a molded frieze.
