Apartment house of P.N. Fokin
Detailed description
P. N. Fokin's apartment building is a striking example of eclectic style. The building was built in 1798 by personal decree of Paul I. And in 1898, the building was rebuilt according to the design of architect L. N. Benois. Two more floors were completed. Subsequently, the building was also very popular with craftsmen, playwrights, and famous merchants. Now the mansion has been restored, major repairs have been made, the staircase has been updated while preserving the unique Venetian architecture.
