The tenement house of the Church in the name of St. Nicholas the Revealed
Detailed description
The building was erected in 1912 by architect L. V. Stenezhsky. The house was built for the 300th anniversary of the reign of the House of Romanov. It housed the assembly hall, libraries, almshouses and the school of the Brotherhood of St. Nicholas, as well as the apartments of the priests, on the 4th floor the apartment of the deacon. The vacant premises were rented to Muscovites, the income from which went to church needs. There were wood-burning stoves in the kitchens. There was a parish school on the second floor, and a canteen, storerooms, and servants' quarters in the basement. Now this house is residential.
