Detailed description

The openwork cast-iron bridge was designed by architect K. I. Rossi. At the end of the 19th century, the bridge was filled in, and with it the pond. In 2002-2003, the cast-iron bridge of Rossi was restored to its original form. The bridge consists of brick abutments lined with limestone blocks, as well as five cast-iron lattice trusses and cast-iron balustrade fences mounted on plinths with decorative elements. Currently, the bridge is the only one in the city that retains its original cast-iron arch structures and cast-iron elements.
