Viktor Korshunov 's Cherry Orchard

Not far from the memorial stone in honor of the fallen Afghan Soldiers, the Cherry Orchard of the People's Artist of the USSR is located in Friendship Park. Victor Korshunov. He is a famous Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, theater worker, director and teacher. His friends and students planted 55 cherry trees in a symbolic gesture marking 55 years of Viktor Korshunov's creative work. Next to the Cherry Orchard is the Linden Alley of Ekaterina Yelanskaya, in memory of Viktor Korshunov's wife and the founder of the Moscow Sphere Theater.
