Mykolaiv Academy of the General Staff

The Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff was founded in 1832. In 1901, a new brick building was built for the academy. The main building of the U-shaped building had a portico with columns. The main function of the Academy was the training of officers of the General Staff, the development of their military science and knowledge. The Academy existed for 86 years. During this time, she managed to train and release 4,500 officers. Currently, the building is used for cultural and educational organizations.
