I.I. Antonov's apartment house

The I. I. Antonov apartment building is located in St. Petersburg on Liteyny Prospekt, near the Mayakovskaya metro station. It was built in 1871, designed by architect Mikhail Alekseevich Makarov. The building was built in an eclectic style. The house has never been rebuilt in its entire existence. The facade of the building is richly decorated: the first three floors are divided by rustication, and the windows have a rectangular shape. The windows on the two upper floors have an arched shape. The center of the facade is accentuated by recessed columns, and the windows of the upper floors and the cornice are richly decorated with floral stucco and female masks.
