Anichkov Bridge
Detailed description
This bridge is practically the most popular bridge in the city, and its history is intertwined with the creation of the city. The bridge connects the two islands, and the main avenue of the city, Nevsky, runs along it. Most likely, all tourists who visited St. Petersburg passed through this bridge. The Anichkov Bridge is included in the list of important sights of the city. It is surprising that the bridge structure itself does not represent anything special at all. Its "highlight" was a group of sculptures depicting the stages of taming a horse. The statues have long become symbols of the cultural center of the city, and various urban stories are associated with them.
