Memorial Complex

The memorial complex was erected on September 8, 2007 in honor of the fighters of the most secretive units. It is located in the park named after Maria Rubtsova. The names of all divisions and units were immortalized in stone. The monument is a granite column topped with an eagle with outstretched wings, an automatic rifle in its beak, a symbol of a special forces unit. There are 2,060 names of killed commandos on the column. A stone rose lies at the foot of the monument.
