The mansion of M.V. Stifter
Detailed description
The building of the M.V. Stifter mansion traces its history back to the end of the 18th century. In 1913, the banker M. V. Stifter purchased the house for his wife. At the same time, the house was rebuilt by architect L. L. Khoinovsky. A four-storey Art Nouveau mansion was built. There were living rooms, halls, living rooms and bedrooms, offices, a library, and servants' quarters on the floors. It belongs to cultural heritage sites. Nowadays, the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities is located there.
