House of Adjutant General P.P. Baranov
Detailed description
The architectural structure was rebuilt in 1909-1910, by the famous architectural engineer Sergei Grigorievich Ginger, in the Art Nouveau style with neoclassical decor. It is worth noting that the decor was chosen by the architect, in a military-antique theme, which takes into account the profession of the owner of the house. Pyotr Petrovich Baranov was an adjutant general. The main entrance is distinguished by a harnessed war chariot. A partial view of the historical decoration of the building has been preserved to this day.
