Apartment house of V.P. Konchielov
Detailed description
The apartment building of V. P. Konchielov is a historical building in the Northern Art Nouveau style. The building was built from 1910 to 1911 under the supervision of engineer Konstantin De Rochefour.
The building creates a sense of monumentality, which is expressed in the building's elements: windows, facade.
The building has some structural features, for example, in the middle of the facade there are two symmetrical semicircular bay windows. The building itself is lined with gray brick and natural northern stone, which creates the mood of northern Art Nouveau. Also, the unusual structure is given by the interestingly equipped main entrance to the building, which resembles a stone grotto in its shape. Unfortunately, due to various factors, there are fewer and fewer facade elements every year, and the original gates, which resemble a real spider's web, have already been completely destroyed.
