The Church of Dimitri Donskoy at the 1st Cadet Corps
Detailed description
The Dimitry Donskoy Chapel Church attached to the 1st Cadet Corps was built in 2001. It was built by the Alpha group in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Pskov Division during the fighting in Chechnya. In terms of the building type, it is a wooden, chopped structure on a stone base, with one head, on a round drum, with a double-pitched thatched roof and with an elegant porch on the west side. There is a belfry on wooden pillars next to the church. The church was consecrated in 2001 by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia.
