Zakharov 's apartment house

The apartment building of M.V. Zakharov is located near Semenovsky Square. The building was built in 1901-1903 by order of Mikhail Vasilyevich Zakharov, the owner of the brick factory. The facade of the house was decorated in an eclectic style: luxurious decoration with many decorative elements. Bay windows were installed in the corners of the building from the second to the fifth floors. They were completed with turrets. The main entrance and the archway were placed side by side in the center of the building. The high doors with modern motifs were decorated with lion faces. An elevator was installed in the front hall. The house had apartments for wealthy citizens. Nowadays, communal apartments are located in the building.
