Church of the Holy Trinity in Trinity-Lykov
Detailed description
The Church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1694-1697 on the territory of the former Troitse-Lykovo estate. The brick church was designed by architect Yakov Bukhvostov. In terms of the type of building, the main volume is enlarged by a quad, two octagons rise above it, forming a bell tower. The composition is crowned by a drum with a single head and an openwork cross. In Soviet times, the church was closed. In 1990, the church building was transferred to the ownership of the Russian Orthodox Church, and later the building was reconstructed, which was completed in 2009. In 2013, the church was transferred to the Pokrovsky Monastery at the Pokrovskaya Outpost.
