Detailed description

The monument was unveiled on December 6, 1966, at the site where the German offensive was repulsed in 1941. It was installed in memory of the 25th anniversary of the defeat of the German army near Khimki. The monument consists of three parts. In the center are three replicas of 6-meter-long anti-tank hedgehogs. In front of the hedgehog is a stone plaque with a map of the defense of the capital, made of colored glass and ceramics, with the inscription "In the last hour, the defeat of the German army near Moscow."
