Mykolaiv Barracks
Detailed description
It was a barracks for the retinue of Emperor Nicholas I, built in 1833 by architect N.I. Nebolsin. The building has an architectural style of late classicism and Baroque. It consists of a three-storey central building and two side porches. The facades of the building are decorated with carvings, columns and pilasters. Inside the barracks, there were engineering and technical units that serviced the palace and its entourage. Currently, the building of the Mykolaiv Barracks is used as an office space.
