* A monument was erected in honor of perpetuating the memory of the Battle of Moscow. The monument was designed by A. Shcherbakov, G. Zakharov, Z. Chernyshova. The structure is a stele of gray granite, the top of which is decorated with a five-pointed star. One of the sides is decorated with a bas-relief depicting the Order of V.I. Lenin, under which the words of the document on awarding the capital the title of "hero city" are engraved. Sculptures depicting a soldier, a female worker and a worker are installed at the foot of the monument.
